• I feel it would be less flow near the floor,the fans vents have an upward direction and are not adjustable. Good fan though!!

• Yes it’s from the floor to the headboard of a queen size bed. My 4 year old lays on the floor to play and she has to cover up from the air.

• It does hit the floor with the way it is set up it hits from the floor on up so yes I think it would be a good choice for what u want it for

• Yes, the unit is a long blower wheel style similar to split AC unit systems just without the exterior portion. The blower wheel takes up the entire height of the unit it looks like. Alaskan Malamute approved.

• The fan blows approx. 8" or so from the floor.
