  • QuestionLooking for a unit that you don't have to push any buttons and just speak into? Thanks

    Asked by Sandman.

    • Answer Out of all the things I have bought from Best Buy this is the one item that works as advertised as promised it really does get the job done, I have microphone in garage and speaker in bedroom for my truck fob it works great you will be glad you bought this item it cost very little and works great. Picks up every little sound, even a cricket out in the back yard. Plug it in and turn the mic up and you're done.

  • QuestionWhat's the best barriers to use

    Asked by Winkers.

    • Answer Hi - We do not recommend any barriers for the DM111. The unit is secured as it uses the DECT 6.0 for its cordless communication. The DECT 6.0 standard includes keys for devices to pair, encryption and time-division multiplexing to help prevent attacks. Thank you!

  • QuestionIn the instructions ( parent unit overview) why does it show a microphone "9" if there is no way to access it?

    Asked by MrBlunston.

    • Answer I have same question. The answer given to first person that asked is not correct. There is a microphone AND a speaker on the parent unit, yet instructions provide no explanation for the mic on the parent unit, as there is no two-way communication function between parent unit and baby unit. Maybe the mic is there for models that have two way talk function?

  • QuestionWhy is there a microphone on the parent monitor

    Asked by Macobre23.

    • Answer The manual clearly points to a microphone on the parent unit (small hole above and to the right of the speaker). I have yet to find an explanation of why this unit has a microphone.
