“In Menu/Select-Dial Mode-the screen does not show Tone or Pulse. Also no dial tone. Other handsets work ok.”

To find the DIAL MODE option, first you have to get to >Settings, then press MENU again, then scroll to >Dial Mode. Customer support is @ 1-800-595-9511.
