“If the answering machine answers a call and starts recording a message and then someone picks up to talk to the caller does the answering machine stop recording? We want to record all calls for quality purposes.”

Rick - Yes, the VTech CM18445 does have call intercept feature. Once a message is intercepted, it will stop recording. Thank you for your interest!
