QuestionWe had older main console and one cordless. An incoming call would be answered. The second in coming call would give the option to answer on other available device. We purchased this vetch and cordless to do the same but have been unsuccessful to do.

For you to be able to answer the second incoming call using the other extension, you need to make sure that there is an active line on line 2 and that you are subscribed to a rollover service. QuestionHi there! I have this phone with the accessory desktop phone as well as a cordless. For the past few days it has been shutting itself off and restarting randomly, including while we're on the phone with customers! Is there any way I can fix this?

QuestionWe love our CM18445 (4 lines) with 3 CM18245 units in our home-office. We are expanding, can we use a 2nd console by jumping the same hard wired 4 lines to our new office built next to our home? And still use 4 lines in the house on console #1 ?

- Answer Pops - Yes, you can use two CM18445 consoles however, the advanced features will only work with the desksets and cordless phones registered on the main phone. QuestionI bought 3 of CM18445 - with the idea of buying a 4th, 4 different phone numbers. Currently it wont assign an extension, is it okay to have all the same models? or do I need to buy just one CM18445 as the main phone and a different model for the 3 ?

- Answer Hello. The VTech CM18445 will not work with other CM18445 phones. You do need just one CM18445 as the main phone, and use model CM18245 or CM18045 for the other three phones. Thank you for your interest!

QuestionI have four users. I would like each person to have this phone and all the features. Will four of them be able to have Console phones? Or must three of my users have to have the extension phones that work with this model? Can I mix cordless with Console?

- Answer Hi - The VTech CM18445 will not communicate with another Console. You can register a cordless handset CM18045 or deskset CM18245 to expand the telephone system. All extension units will be able to use the lines active on the Console. QuestionHow do I get the auto-attendant to default to after hours messaging during weekends. The system answers during the weekend as if it were working hours. It seems it can only do this based on hours but not days (and holidays).
