Hi - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your VTech CS5119. Make sure that there is a presence of a dial tone before dialing out. If that does not work, you can reset the system by disconnecting the power and battery. Wait for 1 minute before reconnecting the battery and power, then test the unit again.
