“My phones(2) both say, “line in use” but both are turned off. How do I fix this?”

• my phone say in use, while is in hand set sitting

• Check to see if any other devise is using the line (PC modem etc.) or simply unplug the unit

If there is not another phone off hook when it displays line in use, there may be temporary fluctuation in the line voltage. To determine whether it is a line or equipment failure, test your unit at another location. If the problem persists, your phone may have a malfunction.
