Tom - If you have the DS6771-3, it can have a maximum of FIVE cordless devices. Since the DS6771-3 already had 3 cordless devices (2 handsets and a headset), that means you can add 2 more cordless handsets. The compatible accessory handset is DS6072. This is the manufacturer replying to you.
