QuestionHow do you place an outgoing call if you want to use the headset? This is what I am doing...I dial the number on the handset and then i turn on the headset. This creates an echo though. What am I doing wrong?

- Answer Hi - You are doing the correct procedure when dialing out from the handset and transferring the call to the cordless headset of the VTech DS6771-3. Please do not forget to press the OFF/CANCEL button on the cordless handset once the call is connected to your headset to avoid feedback. Thank you! - VTech Support

- Answer Hi - We are sorry if the VTech DS6771-3 is not working as expected. You cannot transfer a call from the handset to the bluetooth headset. The call when received should be answered directly from the headset. The phone that has the feature is the VTech DS6421. Thank you. ~VTech Support

QuestionMy Vtech phone worked fine for about 1 year. I was away from my office and came back and now the sound quality is choppy whether directly connected to my VOIP modem or even through my cell phone if paired with it. Thought it was Vonage, but also on cell.

QuestionDoes this phone have a way to talk at my desk without holding the phone part?

- Answer Chris - The VTech DS6771-3 does not have a dial in base speakerphone. You can use the speakerphone of the cordless handset for a hands free conversation. However, the cordless handset should not be cradled to the base or charger for the speakerphone to work. The unit also comes with a cordless headset so you can continue with your call hands free.
