• A:Answer Hi - the VTech VM4261 is not expandable. If you are interested in getting expandable baby monitors, you may check models VM333, VM345 or the VM5271. You can add cameras on these monitors. Thank you for your interest!

Q: QuestionDoes this monitor have VOX technology? In other words, does the screen automatically turn on when a noise is sensed?

• A:Answer Yes it does. There is a setting to have the screen go dark and when there is a noise alert the screen will light up. Also there is a setting for a tone to be played at the same time.

As for noise cancelation, we also have a sound machine and it does pick it up. However we have had no issues hear our daughter. I think it worth a try

Q: QuestionWhen in split screen mode, does the camera automatically display whichever is making noise? I have 2 kids and it will not play the sounds (crying/babbling) through the handheld device if it isn't chosen as the primary.
