- Answer It requires a USB connector. This specific model doesn't have the wireless adapter built in, but I think it can be upgraded. There's another model that looks the same but costs more, and that one has the wireless connector built in.

QuestionCan I connect this to a laptop and what do I need for the connection. Something long enough so my daughter is comfortable.

- Answer It takes a USB connection. My daughter uses this with her art, and she's pretty happy with it, the cable length is kind of short in my opinion, but easily remedied with a wireless USB connector (I think this version can be upgraded? but I'm not 100% on that). If you plan on using this with a laptop, so long as the pad is placed within a foot of the laptop, it should be fine. If your laptop has a bluetooth connector and a touch screen display, I recommend the Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus (draws directly on the screen, no side pad! I love it!) linked below.

QuestionOk, I'm looking to break into digital art and haven't ever really done it. My question, is this a good tablet to start out with for someone who has experience with 2d stencil drawing to start out with who hasn't had much experience in the digital world?

- Answer The Intuos Art is professional digital Pen input device that has a software bundle included and is ready to be used with Windows or Mac out of the box, but that said you can also use any software of your preference. - Answer Thank you for your message. The Intuos Art works with both Windows and Mac and it works as a pointing device with of course many advanced qualities that depending of an app you may or may not use. That said, the tablet will work, it really depends on the app if it supports special inputs but it will cover the same spectrum of options you currently have with your mouse, the navigation and interaction of course will be different. - Answer You can go onto the website and find the alternative. I have an extreme at CD drive because my Omen is like your laptop as well. But one you plug your pad in it directs you to their website and has you download from there. So I’m sure you don’t need to use the disk that is given in the kit.

- Answer The Intuos Art is compatible with Laptops and Desktops running Windows 7 or higher or Apple computers running Mac OS X 10.10 or higher. As an input device, it will take over your cursor in the same way a mouse will do, now as for advance features like pressure sensitivity that is up to the application to supported.
