“Will this charge a fully dead battery or is it more like a tender and there has to be somewhat of a charge there yet to begin?”

• Hello Deadbug, The 4 Amp Battery Charger automatically detects the battery and its needs - then applies the optimal charge current using a 9 stage charging cycle. This process undergoes Primary Evaluation (Diagnostic), Recovery, Soft Start, Pulse, Reconditioning, Bulk Charge, Absorption Charge, Evaluation (Diagnostic), and Maintenance Charge. However, if the battery is too far gone and unable to hold a charge, no device will be able to recover it or recharge it.
