  • QuestionWill this unit power a box fan or Cpap machine? Is it Pure sine wave technology?

    Asked by Bob.

    • Answer Hello, In response to your question about the device being able to power a box fan or cpap machine. If the items are under the wattage amount, then the inverter will power the device. If the items you are connecting to the inverter has a high wattage amount (close to inverter wattage amount) then the device runtime will be limited. Please contact our Customer Service at 800.231.5806 for more details about the devices you want to connect to the inverter. Thank you, Wagan Tech

  • QuestionSo the picture is deceiving. It shows it powering a small microwave. I have a small George Foreman grill that requires 800 watts. This only has 400 watts. I highly doubt it would be able to power a microwave, or am I misunderstanding?

    • Answer Peak on the inverter is 800, with 400 continuous. There are low power MW’s that only require ~700 w, so, it’s possible it could power one. In theory, it should power your GF as well. Keep in mind, the inverter should be wired directly to the battery if running higher power items. It comes with a 12v (cigarette lighter) plug as well, which I’m currently using, as I’m only powering phones and computers and other small items. I believe the 12v plugs are typically rated at 120w. The inverter comes with jumper cable style connections but they are not very long (6’ maybe?). Plan to buy some heavy guage wire to mount the inverter in your intended location. Otherwise you will be cooking on your grill with the car’s hood open.
