Hi Patti, Yes, this table ships flat packed and full assembly is required. It comes with all parts and hardware, as well as step by step assembly instructions. You can purchase an in-home assembly service called "Geek Squad" through Best Buy if you'd like, but details and pricing would be discussed with them. Because of it's size and weight, we recommend having two people move the item before and after assembly. Please let us a know if you have any other questions!
