Hi Ben, The height of the cabinet includes the legs. The legs are 5 1/2 inches, adjustable, and they are capped feet to help protect floors. Unfortunately, I don't know the measurement of the bottom of the legs. When assembled, the top panel has a weight capacity of 75 LBS and the interior shelf has a weight capacity of 30 LBS.
