“If the center piece is about 30" wide, how do you place a 65" TV on the stand since most have legs on the other portion? What is the change in elevation for the top pieces to know if the center of the TV will rest in the middle? Thanks.”

Hi Joe, thank you for your question here! This piece really depends on a couple things-- the mount style of mount or the clearance of your TV over the center accent. If the style of mount is that it is in the center, not to worry -- you have 30 width" to work with. If your TV stands on legs at the end, you have to just clear 1-3/8" (3.6 cm) and you're home free.
