“this question is relevant to the "waring professional wine opened." the cork screw portion of the opener goes in to the cork, but when the action is reversed, the opener quits and doesn't pull out the cork. can the opener be adjusted for this problem?”

You must hold the button down on cork. It will go in and reverse itself. Do not reverse the button until cork is out of the bottle. Then it will spit the cork out when you press the button up after it is off the bottle
