Yes to all of your questions. This is the second of these ovens I've owned. My first one I brought into work for everyone to use I loved it so much. When Best Buy put it on sale again I grabbed a nice, fresh new one. The outside does get very hot so follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding how far to keep it from the wall. The settings are: Toast, Broil, Bake, Bagel, Pizza and Convection Bake. I've seen some descriptions of this oven saying it's not convection but it is. A fan blows inside and cuts about 1/4 off the cooking time when you use it. Hope that helps.
