Q: Does this have both top and bottom heat...Can I bake and broil?..are there bake and broil settings?
A: Yes to all of your questions. This is the second of these ovens I've owned. My first one I brought into work for everyone to use I loved it so much. When Best Buy put it on sale again I grabbed a nice, fresh new one. The outside does get very hot so follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding how far to keep it from the wall. The settings are: Toast, Broil, Bake, Bagel, Pizza and Convection Bake. I've seen some descriptions of this oven saying it's not convection but it is. A fan blows inside and cuts about 1/4 off the cooking time when you use it. Hope that helps.

A: Sounds damaged. My first one was dented during shipping to my house. I returned and had a second one shipped to the store and had no problems.

A: The insides are metal, so no BPA. There is also no nonstick coating.

A: The heating elements are not protected in a housing. They are open above and below.

A: The toaster oven is 12.8 inches high, 21.3 inches wide and 18.5 inches deep.

A: The interior dimension from the lower rack to the top is approximately 16" x 9" x 17".
