A:AnswerAll I know is that Samsung makes a square and round refrigerator filter. I had written down all the model numbers, found one filter available, bought it, got home and realized it was square. So, I took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it for the round filter. Water flow immediately normalized.
Price is the same at Home Depot where I bought the cheaper knock off filter.

The Samsung HAF-CIN/EXP is the correct model filter for this refrigerator. We recommend genuine Samsung filters, which are available from samsung.com, or samsungparts.com.
