On Hard Drives 1 TB (terabyte) = 1000 GBs (gigabytes). Please don't ask me why they lie and give you only 2.8 TBs on a "3 TB HD." I was told once, but don't remember. So if your kids are playing lots of games with High Definition 3D imagery then I would go to a 4 TB HD it will give them lots of room for saving games (being played), updating, and putting new games on. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't understand the question. But this is a 3 terabyte drive
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For a PS4 it may be easier to add an external drive. This drive is slower and made for extended hours running in a NAS or a backup system. For any gaming I would suggest a faster deivebir maybe an SSD drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This will work. One terrabyte is equal to 1024 gigabytes. This will provide them a large amount of space for their games.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With regard to Fred’s answer, let me note (as indicated by the Community Answer) that in computer science a kilobyte is actually 1024 bytes. That is the number 2 raised to the 10th power (remembering that computers are built upon a binary number system). Then a megabyte is 1024 * 1024, and a gigabyte is 1024 to the 3rd power, and a terabyte to the 4th. The hard drive manufacturers are apparently using a factor of 1000 vice 1024. So, they are giving you all the storage they say they are, but the operating system will report a little less, as it is using a factor of 1024. Hope this helps.
