A:AnswerIt should work in any laptop with a SATA interface. You will have to format it and copy your system files to it via a disk copy program. While this is a good hard drive, you may consider for a little extra to upgrade to a solid state drive. Solid states are much much faster.
A:AnswerI upgraded the size of my 10 year old HP laptop hard drive successfully. I don't know your Dell laptop so I would suggest you check the connectors required by your laptop if you want to buy. Are the SATA connectors required by the hard drive compatible with your laptop? Are the adapters for the original hard drive still available? Be careful not to throw away some small piece that needs to be placed on the new hard drive to made the connection. Good luck!
A:AnswerIt should fit any laptop that originally had a SATA hard drive in it.

Installed AV and MS-Office system placed back into production.
Cheers! Woody
