This drive should work for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you need a 2.5 inch drive. Recommend a SSD drive not a hard drive. Performance gains will be worth the price difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. However with the age of your laptop there are very few things you can do to upgrade it at this point. More RAM if you haven't already added it, and a faster hard drive are really the only options. I use this unit in my PS4 and have no issues, however I have extensive computer/laptop background. I would actually recommend a solid state hard drive over this one in your laptop with the reasoning being that a 2010 laptop will feel like a completely different experience with a solid SSD. Boot in a fraction of the time, everything loads faster, even internet pages pop up quicker. With that being said, you need to stick to well-known brands. Intel and Samsung are the best with Intel being the better performer, but Samsung being very solid with usually a lower price point.. Stay away from brands like OCZ, Kingston, and anything of which you've never heard the name of before.
