“Does this come with a heatsink?”

• No, it does not come with a heatsink. From the reviews I have seen a heatsink is recommended. This drive does get hot in use. If there is one on the motherboard use that slot or buy a heatsink. You can use it without one but may run into thermal throttling issues with large data transfers and a shortened lifespan.

• no, the model with the heatsink is 50 dollars more. I was able to get a heatsink online for less than 10 bucks
