Compatibility testing is in progress.” We will upgrade that to yes it works once we are able to complete compatibility testing. It is important to not push non-heatsink since Sony specified heatsink version.

Yes. As of 9/15/2021 the PS5 system update allows the addition of PCIe Gen4x4 NVME drives. This meets all the specs!
