• I would buy the $40 cheaper one, and then just order a heatsink from the internet. You can find them for around $5-15

• Yes. In my experience I didn't get the heatsink version and I am fine. Top out at like 50 degrees..

• Yes, the cheaper one doesn’t have a built in heat sink.
