It averages 15 to 20 MB/s. Again the speed isn't always accurate when copying a large file like video or a Photo Library. But I am always surprised how quick it gets done. Using it as a backup drive also is rather fast.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most SSD's will not provide a warning when they fail as in when they fail it is over so if you use an SSD as your main driver you must keep a solid backup at all times. I hope this helps answer your question.
