• Most likely yes but you will need to be more specific with the model number to make sure as HP has several models with '2000' in the name.

• Yes it will. It will fit almost any standard sized laptop. You will have to load the operating system on the disc because they are purchased blank. Also some laptop are tricky to remove the hard drive from them. I would refer to the laptop manual from hp.com.
