• Yes, the 5250 has a standard SATA 2.5 inch drive bay so it should work with any 2.5 inch SATA hard drive or SSD. You should be able to find installation instructions on YouTube.

• Depends if this 5250 system has SATA capability. Would suggest check with Acer support to see if there is a BIOS update. Would check to see if the connections match. Solid state drives are different than previous ones. Had an SSD drive kill one my favorite computers. If not self confident, suggest take to a local tech support.
