Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. How old is it? If it is more than 6 years old, buy another new one. If less it may be a bad hard drive, replace, reinstall windows and continue on. I'd look at it for you if you live in Youngstown, OH

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Even if it's junk, there are components that can be salvaged. These would be the hard drive, CD ROM drive and LCD panel. This brings up an idea though, maybe you can boot up the laptop from the CD drive, circumventing the OS on the hard drive. Ubuntu linux has a live boot option without installing. If this can be done, it might suggest you pc is not completely done but just needs a new hard drive or OS installed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 5 year old Dell inspiron that has seen better days but I love the computer. It was damaged in a flight in March 17 as the hard drive stopped functioning. I took it to best buy's Geek squad and had a 1TB SSD drive installed. The computer works like a new computer. I would say if you like the computer go for it and replace the drive. If its not what you want, then you are wasting your money.
