• A:Answer Hello Joe ,Sony added support for external USB hard drives on the PS5 with their April 2021 update. However, due to PS5 restrictions, games can only be played off the console’s internal SSD. • A:Answer No, it only fits in an m.2 NVME port. You can pug in an adapter to that slot and insert an m.2 or two for under $20.00.

Q: Questiondoes it come with thermal pads ?

• A:Answer Does not come with thermal pads. Most motherboards that have an NVME cover will have thermal pads pre-applied. It is ok to run this without a cover. I have two and only one is cover with thermal pads and thats because its behind the GPU. The second one is in open air and doesnt overheat or lose performance.
