• Your mac itself will show when the file transfer is complete, when the light is blinking that means a current action is taking place (file transfer)

• The transfer box disappears. Then open the drive to confirm your pictures transferred over.

• It always blinks, the only way to know the transfer is finished is when your file transfer window is gone.

• I'm not versed on Macs but when you transfer files a status bar should come up... you can check the drive to see if they transferred.
