Probably not, according to Amazon they only recommend 3 external hard drive models. I took this from the FAQ section of the FireTV Recast. Which external hard drives are compatible with Fire TV Recast? Amazon has tested and currently recommends three external hard drive models. They are: Seagate Fast SSD 250GB Toshiba Canvio for Desktop 3TB WD 2TB Elements Portable External Hard Drive - USB 3.0 Compatibility or performance with other hard drives isn’t guaranteed.

The WD Elements 2TB drive is one of them and since the Easystore is based on the Elements, it's likely to work. I'm not sure if the Recast is designed to use an external drive larger than 2TB, however. Keep in mind that each terabyte stores 150 hours of HD video, so a 14 TB drive would store 2,100 hours of HD programming. Do you really need to record that much television? That's 87.5 days of continuous 24/7 TV. That might make sense if you're in the military or NASA and will be away for several months, but when would you ever have the time to watch that much TV? Perhaps the WD Elements 2TB drive would be a better choice, and it's a lot cheaper too.
