• No. The PS1 does not have a USB port. The original PS1 had a port for game mods and GameShark. You can add a 20GB HDD to original PS2 though.

• PlayStation 1? Did you mean PS4 or PS4 Pro? If so, than yes. PS1 through 3 dose not support external storage.
