• Almost no instructions included. It acts like a big memory stick, so you can easily copy individual folders, or run an image backup. Comes formatted as "exFAT" which I re-format as NTFS for compatibility with my WIN 7 and 10 systems.

• There is some software that you will need to install on your current pc and then back it up to the drive You can also just drag and drop items into the new drive from your current PC It’s basically plug and play Good luck
