QuestionI have the 2tb version of EasyStore. It has 2 .exe apps. I connect to a Windows 7 Professional 64bit. I plan on using Macrium Reflect to download my SSD and HD in preparation to upgrade to Window 10. Do I have a need to run an exec on the EasyStore.

- Answer If this drive is always connected to the PC it surely could be used to continuously backup your Onedrive filea. There are 2 TB of memeory in this drive so alot could be stored. There may be some setting in Onedrive to point the program to backup on the External Drive.

QuestionI must have had a typo in my password and cannot open the drive anymore. Easydrive WD is a bit stupid that way- why not confirming a password then such a mistake would not happen, how can I reformat the drive to use it again. Else that product is useless

- Answer You will most likely have to reset the drive. Right click it and find the reset to factory option.

We would like to inform you that the WD Easystore External drive comes preformatted in NTFS format for Windows OS, However, in order to use the drive for macOS you can reformat the drive with macOS supported HFS+J file system by using this link: https://support-en.wd.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3879 .Please be informed that reformatting is a data destructive process, please backup the data from the drive before reformatting it.
