• It should work on any computer with USB ports and windows 7 or later. I have 1-4T & 2-8t's connected on windows 7

• Yes, now and days most electronics are called “Plug and Play” which means the device will automatically work when connected or will download the required drivers on its own. Your PC will recognize it and prompt you with further instructions.

• I've used it with 4 different Windows 10 computers, no issues on any of them. It does require external power however, and the "wall wart" transformer is kind of large.
