“Can I store a large music library on this external drive from a Windows Vista computer?”

I'd choose a different drive if you want to ensure the library won't be lost. I'd sooner consider a My Passport.

Yes. I recently transferred all my music over from another hard drive and from my desktop computer onto this drive.

If your computer supports USB 3.0 then yes but I would double check since vista is old..

as Long as your music library is not over the 4TB limit of the drive. The drive is fromated as Fat32, so it will work with Vista.

What do you know. I still have the box and it says: Comparability: * Windows 10, 8.1 or 7 * Requires reformatting for Mac OS * Comparability may vary depending on user's hardware and operating system. My take on this is that this HD is not comparable with windows Vista. I would not risk it. And since Windows Vista is out of life support. I doubt you can find drivers to make it work.
