A:Answer The device comes formatted for Windows file systems out-of-the-box. The packaging says you can use it for external storage of files on a MacOS system, but you will need to follow the directions to set up TimeMachine software and reformat the disk for MacOS.
I would not expect that you can use it directly with an iPhone or iPad, unless they were plugged into a Mac or Windows machine (for example, running iTunes). Then you could use the Mac or Windows machine to copy the images (or whatever) to the easyStore drive.
