• I use it with Dish Network, I would call Direct and ask or check web page. With Dish you can only use it with the receivers on the same account (can't take it to a friends and use it with their dish receiver).

• Yes it will, what you should know is that once you use this for Directv or dish it will be formatted to use it for that purpose only unless you partition it first.

• Specifically, you should go to the DrectTV Web Site for an answer to this question... I can say that it does work with a DishNetwork Hopper and yes 2TB is the mx size that can be attached (to a Hopper)
