I think so. The ease with which you create the backup depends on what backup software you use. With 4 TB there's plenty of storage space. I have a 4 GB backup image on the drive along with other files and still have about 3 TB of space left. Just assign each backup image its own separate folder each with a unique name and you should be fine.
