“I have had a 2TB FOR 2years now. Is it time to get a new one? My biggest fear is having it one day not work anymore. If these can last many years I may get the 4tb or 2 tb. Unsure yet. How often should I renew it and what does the insurance cover?”

We usually replace them every couple of years before they start acting up, we've held on to them longer but would start having problems and now we don't wait and regret it because of losing our backed up files
