The WD My Cloud 2TB Personal Cloud Storage External hard Drive is a NAS(Network Attached Storage) and is intended to be connect to your router so other devices within your network would be able to access it. This drive is unfortunately not designed to work with DVRs'. However the My Book AV DVR Expander is specifically designed to be used with a wide range of DVRs' and other AV devices. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not have power source, it only has one port for USB cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To be able to use this you have to be able to connect thru an ethernet cable. It does not connect with usb. The usb port is for a backup drive of the WD MY Cloud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have DISH, however, I am familiar with DVRs. You would be better to get just a plain USB External Drive for a few bucks and just plug it into the USB connector on the back of your DVR (Hopper). Best Buy has them for really cheap. You will need to read your manual to know how to let the Hopper know that an additional drive has been connected. Have fun! Beck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Even when this has USB ports those are to connect external HDD. In your case you need a USB 2.0 External HDD no a NAS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not recommended.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the MyCloud meets these requirements, so I don't see any reason it won't work, It works across all file formats that I have tried. However, I have not tried it for that purpose. I will say that it works across my ps3 if that helps at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
