• No, partitioning is not available. However multiple "shares" can be setup and configure. One for your laptop and one for the XBOX. Each can have it's own permissions.

• There is a way, but you will need to be decently tech savvy to do this when partitioning. I do not recommend this for doing what you are wanting to though. These drives are not meant for that kind of storage.
