I would say yes, however replace with NAS hard drive, its made for the long term storage.

You can physically open it up and install a new drive but I am not sure how it is formatted and where the MyCloud software is installed from.
You might be able to download and install it on another drive.
I have not had to do that yet.

Not sure. If you are good w/modifying/installing new hardware, but I would consult the manufacture before proceeding.

I have not tried this, but I see no reason why you could not change the hard drive unless the enclosure is damaged.

You can but will void the warranty, case clips might break if you are not familiar with opening.
