No it does not do that. It's just a backup drive. You would need to use some software like Sync Toy to do what you want done. You don't need a backup drive to do that.

I prefer to use one that comes with my Antivirus. A Suite of products (firewall, antivirus, url scnanner, backup...). that does a backup, The sync denotes the operating system also - that is another ballgame. that also is a unique product/software.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can do both. I use Acronis home backup and you can mount an image without doing a complete restore. It works great because it is basically another drive and you can access your files easily
