“What happen if a fire happen and this unit burns? Can we get a real "backup in the cloud" ? How many gigabytes this could would be? Is it free to back up?”

No worry! My back up files are stored on WD cloud anytime and anywhere with 4TB. I am extremely live this product.

Also if need be you are able to back it up to your email so that I case of a fire you simply log into your email from a different device and boom it's there. Good question!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this is not "cloud" as is generally used. It is your own hard drive which sits in your home, but you can access it globally as if it were the cloud. Basically, it is not a safe cloud backup that you are looking for.
