• The MyCloud is a network attached storage system, not a USB hard drive. You access it over the network as a Windows file share, an Apple file share, FTP, NFS, Windows Media and iTunes Streaming, or through the web-based Cloud interface. If the ps4 can access a network share of FTP server it should work with the MyCloud over your home network.

• It does work with the ps4, as long as both are connected to the same network. An Ethernet cord is all you need for the ps4 for best results.

• one end is 3.0 USB and the other end is USB, that connects like any other USB on PS3, Xbox 360 or computer / laptop.
