My Sharp Aquos smart Tv found the media server without any input from me and streamed video, music and pictures
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your TV should be able to recognize the dive on the same network. I don't have a smart TV yet so I had to by a WDTV. Which works perfect with streaming all types of movies files. I've heard some TV's not being able to play certain formats. WDTV plays everythig!

When your device is recognized on your home network, you'll be able to choose it and any other folders that you've setup on the device.
