I don't know about Windows, but I know you can read/write files from MacOS and Ubuntu-Mate Linux, so I am sure you will be able to do the same with Windows.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if your computer, whether Mac or Windows, can read a file format ie: .doc or .pdf or what ever then they will be able to read those files on this device. From your computer's standpoint this drive is not different from a USB drive - it is just a file source The benefit of this device is that you can use it via a usb connection and or a network connection , and if you have a wifi connection at your home it will be seen on wifi and also via the web if you turn that feature on
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In a nutshell, yes! As long as any hard drive is formatted as exfat it is accessible by both PC and Mac. There are other ways to do this as well comma if you use an NTFS reader for Mac OS. Then your hard drive can still be formatted as NTFS being able to be read and written to by both Mac and PC. It however will not work the other way around.
